സലാം ചൊല്ലി സത്യവാചകം ഉച്ചരിച്ചു. "അശ്ഹദു അൻ ലാഇലാഹ ഇല്ലല്ലാഹ്.. വ അശ്ഹദു അന്ന മുഹമ്മദർറസൂലുല്ലാഹ്.. പ്രവാചകരുﷺടെ മുഖം സന്തോഷം കൊണ്ട് വിടർന്നു. ഇസ്‌ലാമിലെ അഭിവാദ്യ വാചകം 'അസ്സലാമു അലൈക്കും' ആദ്യമായി സംബോധന ചെയ്തത് ഞാനായി. അവിടുന്ന് പ്രത്യഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്തു. വ അലൈകുമുസ്സലാം. എവിടുന്നാണ്?
ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു, ഗിഫാർ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ നിന്ന്. അപ്പോൾ പ്രവാചകൻ ﷺ കൈകൊണ്ട് ആംഗ്യം കാണിച്ചു. വിരലുകൾ നെറ്റിയിൽ വെച്ചു. ഞാനാലോചിച്ചു ഗിഫാർ ഗോത്രമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞത് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടില്ലയോ ആവോ! ഞാൻ പ്രവാചകരുﷺടെ കരം കവരാനൊരുങ്ങി. എന്നാൽ ഒപ്പമുള്ളയാൾ എന്നെ തടഞ്ഞു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് എന്നെക്കാൾ പ്രവാചകനെﷺ അറിയാമല്ലോ! ഉടനെ അവിടുന്ന് ശിരസ്സുയർത്തി എന്റെ നേരെ ചോദിച്ചു. എപ്പോഴാണ് ഇവിടെ എത്തിയത്? മുപ്പത് രാപ്പകലുകളായി. ഭക്ഷണമൊക്കെ എവിടുന്നു കിട്ടി? സംസം വെള്ളമല്ലാതെ ഒരു ഭക്ഷണവും ലഭിച്ചില്ല. എന്നാൽ വിശപ്പിന്റെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടൊന്നും അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. വയറിന്റെ മടക്കൊക്കെ നിവർന്നു. അത്യാവശ്യം ശരീരമൊക്കെ പുഷ്ടിച്ചു. അവിടുന്ന് പ്രതികരിച്ചു, അനുഗ്രഹീതം! സംസം ഭക്ഷണത്തിന് ഭക്ഷണവും രോഗത്തിന് ശമനവുമാണ്.
ഇബ്നു അബ്ബാസ് (റ) ന്റെ ഒരു നിവേദനത്തിൽ ഇങ്ങനെയാണുള്ളത്. അബൂദർറ്(റ) പറയുന്നു. ഞാൻ മക്കയിലെത്തി. പ്രവാചകനെﷺ എനിക്കറിയില്ല. ആരോടും അന്വേഷിക്കാൻ ഞാനിഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടതുമില്ല. നേരേ സംസം കിണറിന്റെ അടുത്തെത്തി. വെള്ളം കുടിച്ചു. പള്ളിയിൽ വന്നു കിടന്നു. അപ്പോൾ അലി(റ) അതുവഴി വന്നു. വിദേശിയാണെന്നു തോന്നുന്നല്ലോ, അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു, അതേ. അലി പറഞ്ഞു, എന്നാൽ വരൂ വീട്ടിൽ പോകാം. ഞാൻ ഒപ്പം നടന്നു. ഞാനൊന്നും പറഞ്ഞതുമില്ല. അദ്ദേഹം ഒന്നും അന്വേഷിച്ചതുമില്ല. രാവിലെയായപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എന്റെ തോൽപാത്രവും മറ്റും എടുത്ത് പള്ളിയിലേക്ക് തന്നെ വന്നു. നബി ﷺ യെ അന്വേഷിച്ചു. ആരും പറഞ്ഞ് തന്നില്ല. അന്നും അങ്ങനെ കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ പള്ളിയിൽ തന്നെ കിടക്കാനൊരുങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അലി(റ) അതുവഴി വന്നു. ഇന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് താമസിക്കാൻ സ്ഥലം ആയിട്ടില്ല അല്ലേ?ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു, ആയിട്ടില്ല. എന്നാൽ എനിക്കൊപ്പം വരൂ, അലി(റ) പറഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ ഒപ്പം നടന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ഒന്നും ചോദിച്ചുമില്ല ഞാനൊന്നും പറഞ്ഞുമില്ല. മൂന്നാം ദിവസവും അപ്രകാരം തന്നെ ആവർത്തിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ അലി(റ) ചോദിച്ചു. നിങ്ങൾ ഈ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് വന്ന കാര്യം എന്താണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞില്ലല്ലോ? നിങ്ങൾ രഹസ്യമാക്കി വെക്കുമെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ പറയാം. വേറൊരു റിപ്പോർട്ട് പ്രകാരം, നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്ക് മാർഗദർശനം തരും എന്ന് ഉറപ്പ് തന്നാൽ ഞാൻ പറയാം. അലി(റ) പറഞ്ഞു, ശരി. ഞാൻ ഉദ്ദേശ്യം പങ്കുവെച്ചു. ഉടനെ അലി(റ) തുടർന്നു. നിങ്ങൾക്കു മാർഗദർശനം ലഭിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു. നിങ്ങൾ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തി അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദൂതനാണ്. രാവിലെ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നോടൊപ്പം വരിക. വഴിയിൽ വെച്ച് വല്ല അപായ സൂചനയും ലഭിച്ചാൽ ഞാൻ വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കുന്ന ആളെപ്പോലെ വഴിയരികിലേക്ക് നീങ്ങും, നിങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ട് തന്നെ നടക്കണം. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ, ചെരുപ്പ് ശരിയാക്കാൻ നിൽക്കും പോലെ വഴിയരികിൽ നിൽക്കും. ഞാൻ നടത്തം തുടർന്നാൽ വീണ്ടും എന്നെ പിൻതുടരുക. ഞാൻ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്ന വാതിലിലൂടെ നിങ്ങളും കടന്നു വരിക.
ഞങ്ങൾ നടന്നു. പ്രവാചക സന്നിധിയിലെത്തി. ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു എനിക്ക് ഇസ്ലാമിനെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തിയാലും. അവിടുന്ന് പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി. ഞാനപ്പോൾ തന്നെ ഇസ്‌ലാം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇപ്പോൾ ഇത് രഹസ്യമാക്കി വെക്കുക. നാട്ടിലേക്ക് തന്നെ മടങ്ങിക്കോളൂ. നാട്ടുകാരോട് സന്ദേശങ്ങൾ കൈമാറുക. ഞങ്ങൾ പരസ്യമായി രംഗത്ത് വന്നെന്നറിഞ്ഞാൽ ഇങ്ങോട്ട് വന്നോളൂ. അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു, തങ്ങളെ സത്യവുമായി നിയോഗിച്ചവൻ സത്യം! എന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥനായ നാഥൻ സത്യം! ഞാനവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ച് പരസ്യമായി വിളിച്ചു പറയും.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنٰا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ

'The Testimony of faith' was recited after salam. "Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah Wa ashhadu anna Muhammada Rasoolullah... the Prophet's face shined with joy. I was the first to address the Islamic greeting phrase 'Assalamu Alaikum'. He returned the greeting. Wa alaikumussalam. Where are you from?
I said ' from the Gifhar tribe'. Then the Prophetﷺ gestured with his hand. Put his fingers on his forehead. It seemed that the Prophetﷺ was displeased to hear the name 'Ghifar'. I was about to take the Prophet'sﷺ hand. But the person who was with him stopped me. He knows the Prophetﷺ better than me!. Immediately the Prophetﷺ raised his head and asked me. When did you reach here? It's been thirty days and nights. From where did you get the food? Did not get any food except the Zamzam water, but did not feel any pangs of hunger. The folds of stomach straightened. Essentially, the body vitalized. He responded. 'Blessed'. "Zamzam is food for food and cure for disease".
In a narration of Ibn Abbas(RA), Abu Darr says: I reached Mecca. I do not know the Prophetﷺ. I didn't like to ask anyone. I went straight to the Zamzam well, drank the water, came to the masjid and slept there. Then Ali(R) came that way. He said 'you seem to be a foreigner'. I said 'yes'. Come on let's go home. I walked along. I didn't say anything. He didn't enquire anything either . When it dawned, I took my leather bowl and other things and came to the masjid. I looked for the Prophetﷺ. No one told me. That day also ended like that. When I was about to sleep in the masjid Ali (R) came by. You still don't have a place to stay today, right? I said 'no'. Come with me. I walked with him.He didn't ask anything, I didn't say anything either. On the third day, he repeated the same thing. Then Ali (R) asked, "Why did you come to this country?". I will tell you if you keep it a secret. According to another report, if you promise to guide me, I will tell you. Ali (R) said. OK. I revealed my intention. Soon Ali (R) continued. 'You have been guided. The person you seek is the Messenger of Allah. Come with me in the morning. If there is any alarming sign on the way, I will move to the side of the path like a man pouring water. Then you go ahead. Or I stand there as if repairing my chappel. If I keep walking, follow me again. Through the door by which I enter you shall also enter the masjid. We walked and reached near the prophetﷺ. I said. 'Please introduce Islam to me'. He introduced. I accepted Islam immediately. Then he told me. Now keep this as a secret. Go back to your country. Convey the messages to your natives. Come here if you know that we have come out publicly. Then I said. 'By Him, who appointed you with the truth by my Lord I will proclaim the truth before them.
